Founded in 1971, James River Day School is an independent, non-sectarian, co-ed, kindergarten through eighth grade day school. The School serves academically qualified students regardless of race, color, national origin, ethnic, social, or economic backgrounds. James River Day School’s next Head of School will be charged with maintaining the authentic sense of enthusiasm that the faculty and students exude for education and JRDS.
